I have no excuses for leaving my blog for so long.. but I do have so much to tell. Firstly , I must introduce our newest addition to our family - Miss Abigail. She is now 8 months old and has brought so much joy and love and fun and laughter for every second of those days!

She had the dubious honour of being the largest baby born in Tasmania and made front page news! My two beautiful older children adore her which I am sure has helped her to be the most contented and happy baby ever born.

My days have been filled with creating and learning with my sewing. Some projects have worked out how I pictured them, others not so well. There has been so many babies born, we have welcomed Evie, Tejas, and my new nephew Jacob. They are all so lovely and their cute little faces demand cuddles!
Mitchell and Lulu have enjoyed their schools bush dance, and we have savoured the sun any time it appeared as we have had so. much. rain. I will be including photos very shortly.

Orford, Honeymoon Bay and Friendly Beaches and the chicken pox!

This was beautiful Honeymoon Bay.. we snorkelled and caught our dinner here.Lucy and Mitchell love the waves at Friendly Beaches.

Sitting on the veranda overlooking the river where we kayaked every day.

We are all back on board after a bout of the chicken pox hitting our home. It floored myself and Mitch, while hubby escaped and Lulu had a mild case. We still managed to head off for our annual breakaway at Orford on the east coast of Tasmania. What a glorious time it was too!! Plenty of sun, sand and some kayaking thrown in.

We had a wonderful weekend... finishing it up with fishing for our dinner.

It has been a while since I have actually written a post, I have plenty of excuses, but will just say that life got busy. Today I was looking at some photos that my youngest stepdaughter took of my two littlies when I began thinking again how i wanted to use this blog to record my year, hmm, I had better pull my socks up! Here are the photos taken in our lovely garden (thankyou husband) that only 2 years ago was bare sand.

Sunny days and Deloraine!

Gosh we have been enjoying the sun lately, then it surprises us with another winter day just so we don't get too comfortable! I thought that I would share some photos of my lovelies enjoying a local school fair. They absolutely loved the flying fox.. which I loved at 20c a turn! This was the sweetest fair with lots of homemade prizes and not a sweet to be seen .. just beautiful meals, fresh fruit, and homemade ginger beer! I have also posted a couple of photos of our trip to Deloraine for the craft fair. This was a huge day. We left home at 6am, drove for three hours, wandered around the endless beautiful stalls, before heading home a 6pm. Our heads hit the pillow at around 9.30pm. whew! A sleep in was most definitely wanted the next day. My children didnt love it as much as I did.. but they did love the children's section where they tried archery and recouped some energy to peek at more stalls!
